
Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd, 1975)[1] is an American actor director, producer, talk show host and writer. She is part of the Barrymore actor family, and has received numerous nominations and awards including the Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award. She was also nominated for seven Emmy Awards and a British Academy Film Award. In 2004 she was given a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her breakout role in E.T. made her a famous actor for children. the Extra-Terrestrial. Following a highly publicized childhood that was characterized by alcohol and drug abuse, she wrote an autobiography Little Girl Lost. She was a major character in several successful films of the 1990s and the 2000s, including Charlie's Angels. Barrymore played with Adam Sandler on three films, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Firestarter, Donnie Darko and Riding in Cars with Boys are just a few of her films. Her directorial debut, Whip It, also featured her. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as along with the Golden Globe Award. She was a prominent character on Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet. She currently hosts The Drew Barrymore Show, the talk-show that is syndicated.
