Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American TV journalist who is currently associated with CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor for the channel's programs 'Squawk On the Street' and 'Closing Bell'. She's an Ohio native, and wasn't interested in currencies or markets while in college. She interned at ForexTV.com as studying at New York University. Her first exposure in business news from this experience. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's degree in broadcast journalism. She completed a four-month work experience at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to the USA and was hired by Bloomberg's New York office. Later, she was promoted to TV anchor. In December 2013 she was recruited by CNBC as a correspondent. She was co-anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange and 'Power Lunch', before landing the position on 'Closing Bell' in the year 2018. Eisen anchors 'Squawk On The Street' since 2014. She is among the most revered journalist in business today. Since her arrival at CNBC, her primary focus has been on global consumer news.
