Angelica Bengtsson

Angelica Therese Bengtsson (Swedish track and field athlete) is famous by her pole-vaulting abilities. She won the inaugural Summer Youth Olympics, held in Singapore 2010, as the first woman to attain pole vault success. Bengtsson was crowned gold medalist at both World Youth Championships of 2009 and the World Junior Championships of 2010 in Athletics. Angelica Panganiban is a Quezon City native born in Payatas on November 4, 1986. Her mother's biological father is a Filipina who died in 2008 and was cremated in Singapore while her biological father Mark Charlson is an American from Iowa United States and a ex-member in the US Navy. Mark Charlson, her birth father, is an American native of Iowa who retired in 1980. He served aboard the U.S.S. O'Brien, which was stationed on the Philippines. She was adopted by Annabelle Panganiban while she was still a child, and her grandparents Adolfo and Mila Panganiban, helped raise her. Annabelle was the one who took her in as a little baby, while her grandparents Adolfo Panganiban and Mila Panganiban were involved in her upbringing.
